JAIL-BIRD STRIPES is always in trend and comes in different colors. They say the horizontal lines will make you look wide but it’s usually the thicker spaced lines that can make the body look huge. The lines plays a trick on the eyes causing it to look at the body from left to right. If I was a more curvy girl I would stick to more subtle delicate stripes like the ones in the picture. You can pull of the more thicker stripes if there were other details at the neckline or pair it with something else. The stripe shirt is a classic look and can be worn to the beach and work.

FLORAL PRINTS is cute and feminine for any female at any age. However picking the right color and print on floral item(s) can be tricky. The print itself can make the outfit look old, plain and tacky. Floral prints are always the trend but they usually changed in colors and bold shapes of print. Floral items can be dressy to casual to lounge wear depending on how it is worn.

GETTING BUBBLY but is it meant for every girl to wear? In my honest opinion I don’t think so, bubble dresses are cute but it’s not for all body types. I like them but you got to find the right fit looking into the length and making sure the hem is not too bubbled. A much more curvy girl should stay away from it because it can make you look bigger then you think and it doesn’t help with your curves. This is a fashion trend that does come and go so pair it up with a denim or tights and heels.

ROMP SHAKING ROMPERS is a fun and girly one piece playsuit. I own a few rompers and as cute as it can be it sure is a challenge to take off when going to the restroom. Try on a few rompers to find the right fit because it doesn’t fit all body types. Rompers can be unforgiving and can make your body look disproportion, it can hinder or bring out the flaws. Some rompers to shop or look for is the strapless, it’s shows off the arms and neckline. Got a nice lil booty best way to show it of is to get a romper with side details, make sure hem line is not way too short. Hiding the tummy aka muffin top look into blouson rompers, this loose flowing look can hide the love handles. Another fun thing about rompers is dressing it up or down and you can go super girly or the more edgy tomboy.

SCAR-RIF-FIC! Scarf is a great accessory for both male and female to wear year round depending on the weight of it. What do I mean by weight? Well we have the thin light flowy scarf for a warm summer. There are the heavy more knitted thick scarf for windy winter days. Scarves come in different colors, shapes, patterns and texture making it a lil more easy to mix and match with what we wear. It’s great to mix a print scarf with a more solid & neutral outfit. Going overboard is matching the scarf with your sweater and shoes, trust me there is no need to or wearing a bright colored scarf with a bright outfit. Scarf also keeps our neck warm so it’s a very useful fashion item.

HOSIERY ME UP. Having hosiery/tight comes in handy on a cold night or a small summer breeze. I’ve always like a lil collection of hosiery but it’s important to have the basics such as: black opaque, nude, sheer and grays. Tights with prints and patterns is an eye catching accessory with a plain or subtle outfit. Wearing the right color tights can elongate your legs, it also covers what you want hidden and it makes your legs look sleek and smooth. I also like to have buy light weight hosiery to wear when it’s warm out and the more knitted hosiery for a cold winter night. Great places to find some nice print hosiery would be at Forever 21, H&M, Nordstrom and Macy’s.

TURN SOMETHING ORDINARY TO EXTRAORDINARY! It’s great to have a few simple plain t-shirts, blouse and cardigan. But it’s fun to turn when the plain garments by adding your very own embellishments on it. Adding your own touch makes it more unique and a great way to start a trend. Embellishments can also make your item look more expensive but don’t over do it. Some great embellish things to look for is: accented items that seems hand made, sequins, vintage jewels and special embroidery pieces.

I’M A CHEET-AH LOVER. Cheetah print anything is fun and exotic looking. It’s great to wear but don’t go overboard with this print. When I say overboard this mean matching your cardigan to your shoes or handbag. If wearing a cheetah print to any outfit keep it simple because the print itself is a bold statement an eye catcher already.

RE-USE ME…. Great thing about recycled bags is helping reduce the usage of plastic bags which helps the planet. I am learning how to be more green and Eco friendly everything. I admit I do forget to bring my reusable bags to the markets while shopping but just think of it as a second purse. I can’t get enough of the fashionable bags. Great thing is they are getting more creative with handbags, just go to “creative shopping bags” and having one will actual make you look cool and recycling will make you look even cooler :D

EENIE MINI MIGHTY MOE….Anyone that knows me knows how much I love love shoes! I buy them in all colors, heights, texture and brands. In this picture there are shoes ranging from $6-$500. Of course you can’t tell unless you zoom in on the label. I mean why not buy it if it’s a good deal and it will add to your shoe collection making others go Ohhhh and Ahhhh! Wondering which ones is $6? The three heels are: the sparkly blue peep toe with ribbon in front, gray round toe suede pump and the red open toe cut out. Having a variety of shoes makes dressing up FUN! You know you got a hot pair of heels on when you get more then 3 compliments and if it’s turning heads in a good way.
